Charities

The Cool Cruisers of Southwest Florida have been supporting local children’s charities for 25 years. We have donated more than $200,000 while sharing our love of classic cars with the community. We display our cars at local retirement communities and fund raisers such as church fairs and sock hops. We have had a partnership over the years with Golden Gate Community Center to provide for their local community.

In 2013 we donated $10,550 to Grace Place for Families and Children, Liberty Youth Ranch, People to People, Mike Davis Elementary School, Golden Gate Community Center and local Food Bank, and the Shriners as well as a young teen with cancer. We have successfully achived our goal to again contribute $10,000 this calendar year.

With the generous support of organizations in and around Collier County we will continue to raise funds for the community. So far this year we helped Mike Davis Elementary School purchase in- school IPads for their students, donated school supplies for the children at Mike Davis, sponsored a Swim Safety Program at Grace Place, and sponsored Summer Camp scholarships to GGCC for the local children. This totaled approximately $5000.

Mike Davis, Grace Place, and GGCC will be the recipients of our fund raising for the next calendar year. This is reviewed each year to determine what other needs might have developed in Collier and Lee counties. We also have an additional emergency fund set aside for those children and their families who have an immediate need for care and attention.
